About this
Service

Ear surgery can benefit both children and adults with prominent or misshapen ears. People with ear deformities caused by injury or congenital conditions often opt for a corrective surgery. The aim of the surgery is to make the ears more proportionate and aesthetically pleasing. When the ears stick out too far, in that case repositioning is needed. This is done by reshaping the cartilage in the ear to make it lie closer to the head. When the ear is disproportionately large compared to the rest of the face, the surgery involves reducing the size of the ear, either by removing excess skin or by reshaping the cartilage in the ear. The exact steps involved in ear surgery will vary depending on the specific needs of each patient.
