VASER stands for Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance. It is a form
of ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) technology used in cosmetic and plastic
surgery procedures. VASER liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that targets
and removes excess fat deposits from specific areas of the body. During VASER liposuction, Professor Hindocha makes small incisions in the targeted area and inserts a probe that emits ultrasound waves. These ultrasonic waves specifically target and break down the fat cells while leaving other tissues, such as
blood vessels and nerves, largely unaffected. The liquefied fat is then suctioned out through a cannula, resulting in a smoother contour and improved body shape.
