Breast Reconstruction
Procedure to restore the appearance of a breast after a mastectomy or injury. The aim is to create a breast that looks and feels as close to the natural breast as possible. This is usually done using implants or tissue from other parts of the body.
DIEP and Free flap surgery
A surgical procedure performed for the reconstruction of the breast following mastectomy, using skin, fat and blood vessels from the patient's own body to create a new breast mound.
Implant based reconstruction
A surgical procedure performed to restore the shape and volume of the breasts using breast implants.
Trauma
Cosmetic surgery for trauma refers to surgical procedures performed to repair physical damage to the face, body, and limbs caused by injury, accident, or prior surgeries. These are done to restore the appearance and function of the affected area. These procedures may include reconstructive surgery, skin and tissue repairs, and cosmetic treatments to improve scars, asymmetry, and other imperfections resulting from the trauma. The goal is to help patients recover from their physical and emotional trauma and restore their confidence in their appearance.
