Vaser

VASER stands for Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance. It is a form of ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) technology used in cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures. VASER liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that targets and removes excess fat deposits from specific areas of the body. During VASER liposuction, Professor Hindocha makes small incisions in the targeted area and inserts a probe that emits ultrasound waves. These ultrasonic waves specifically target and break down the fat cells while leaving other tissues, such as blood vessels and nerves, largely unaffected. The liquefied fat is then suctioned out through a cannula, resulting in a smoother contour and improved body shape.

About this
Service

The VASER liposuction technique has several advantages over traditional liposuction
methods. These include:
1. Precision: The ultrasound waves selectively target fat cells, minimizing
damage to surrounding tissues.
2. Less trauma: The VASER technique requires smaller incisions, resulting in
less scarring and a quicker recovery time compared to traditional liposuction.
3. Improved skin tightening: The ultrasound energy stimulates collagen
production, leading to better skin contraction and tightening in the treated
area.
4. Versatility: VASER can be used in various body areas, including the
abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms, and neck.
It’s important to note that VASER is a surgical procedure that should be performed by
a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon. Professor Hindocha has further
experience in this area of surgery and has received the necessary training to carry
out VASER liposuction.
