HARMONY. BALANCE. CONFIDENCE.

Rhinoplasty

The nose sits at the centre of the face. When it feels right, everything else does too. Expert rhinoplasty to reshape, refine, or restore — for a result that looks like it was always yours.

THE NOSE JOB, REIMAGINED

Your Face. Your Nose. Your Way.

Rhinoplasty — more commonly known as a nose job — is one of the most requested cosmetic procedures in the world, and one of the most technically complex. It addresses aesthetic concerns such as a prominent nasal hump, a wide or drooping tip, asymmetry, or nostrils that feel out of proportion — as well as functional issues like a deviated septum that affects breathing.

The procedure involves the careful reshaping of the bone, cartilage, and soft tissue of the nose. Incisions may be made inside the nostrils (closed rhinoplasty) or across the columella (open rhinoplasty), depending on the complexity of the changes required. Nostril size, nasal width, tip projection, and bridge height can all be refined within a single surgical plan.

Because every nose is different, every rhinoplasty is different. Professor Hindocha develops a surgical plan based entirely on your facial anatomy, ethnic features, and personal aesthetic goals — producing a result that enhances your face without erasing what makes it yours.

THE ROAD TO YOUR NEW NOSE

Patience. Progress. Perfection.

Week 1

Splint On, Rest Up

The nose is protected by a nasal splint. Bruising around the eyes and swelling of the nose and face is normal and expected — this is the hardest week, and it passes. Rest completely and keep the head elevated.

Week 1–2

Splint Off, Healing Begins

The nasal splint is removed at your first follow-up. Periorbital bruising fades significantly. The nose remains swollen but the shape is already visible. Most patients return to light work and social activity.

Week 3–6

Looking Like Yourself Again

Visible bruising has resolved and the nose looks dramatically better. Most people in your everyday life will not notice you have had surgery. Avoid contact sports, glasses, and direct sun exposure to the nose.

Month 3–12+

The Final Reveal

Rhinoplasty has one of the longest settling timelines in cosmetic surgery. The nose continues to refine and soften as residual swelling fully resolves — sometimes over 12 months. The final result is worth every day of the wait.

WHAT CHANGES. WHAT STAYS.

The Rhinoplasty Effect

A successful rhinoplasty changes the nose while preserving what makes your face distinctive. The result should look like you — just perfectly in proportion.

  • Reshaped nasal bridge — straightened, smoothed, or refined as desired
  • Reduction or refinement of nasal tip size, width, and projection
  • Correction of a deviated septum for improved nasal airflow
  • Refined nostril size, shape, or symmetry
  • Improved overall facial balance, proportion, and harmony
  • Natural-looking, permanent results that feel entirely your own

MORE THAN AESTHETICS

Why Rhinoplasty Is Worth It

The Centre of Your Face, Perfected

The nose sits at the centre of every face — and every photograph. A nose that feels too large, too wide, too crooked, or simply “not quite right” can affect confidence daily. Rhinoplasty changes that, permanently.

Cosmetic and Functional

Rhinoplasty is unique in addressing both appearance and function. A deviated septum, nasal trauma, or structural breathing difficulty can be corrected at the same time as cosmetic refinement — two goals, one procedure.

Entirely Bespoke

No two noses are alike. The surgical plan is built around your unique facial anatomy, your ethnic identity, and your personal goals — not a trending aesthetic or a generic template. The result should look like the best version of you.

One Procedure. For Life.

Unlike fillers or non-surgical rhinoplasty, surgical rhinoplasty delivers a permanent structural change. The result is stable, requires no maintenance, and will last for the rest of your life.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR OPTIONS

Open vs. Closed Rhinoplasty

The two main surgical approaches to rhinoplasty — explained clearly, without the jargon.

OPEN RHINOPLASTY

Greater Access, Greater Control

A small incision is made across the columella — the strip of tissue between the nostrils — allowing the surgeon to lift the skin and work with full visibility of the underlying structure. Preferred for complex reshaping, significant tip refinement, and revision rhinoplasty cases.

CLOSED RHINOPLASTY

No External Scars

All incisions are made inside the nostrils, leaving no visible external scar. The approach offers more limited access but is suited to less complex reshaping where targeted adjustments — rather than full structural reconstruction — are required.

WHICH IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

It Depends on Your Goals

The choice of technique is guided by the complexity of the changes required, your nasal anatomy, and the surgical assessment. Professor Hindocha will recommend the most appropriate approach and explain the reasoning clearly during your consultation.

THE PROOF IS IN THE RESULTS

Life After Rhinoplasty

I had always been self-conscious about my nose and the result has completely changed how I see myself. I look like the best version of me.

— T.A.

The surgery corrected my breathing and improved the shape of my nose at the same time. I had no idea both were possible in one procedure. I cannot recommend Professor Hindocha highly enough.

— R.K.

I was nervous about looking different but the result looks like it was always my nose — just better. Perfectly natural. Exactly what I had hoped for.

— S.M.

ONE NOSE. TWO GOALS.

Aesthetics and Function in a Single Procedure

Many patients come to rhinoplasty with one goal in mind — and discover during consultation that both their cosmetic and functional concerns can be addressed in the same procedure. A deviated septum causing breathing difficulty, a nasal valve that collapses on inhalation, or structural irregularities from previous trauma can all be treated alongside cosmetic reshaping — under a single anaesthetic, in a single recovery.

This dual approach — often called septorhinoplasty when a septum correction is included — is one of the most rewarding aspects of the procedure. Patients who struggled to breathe through the nose for years frequently describe the functional improvement as more transformative than the cosmetic change.

  • Deviated septum causing restricted nasal airflow
  • Nasal valve collapse on inhalation
  • Structural deformity following nasal fracture or trauma
  • Enlarged or asymmetrical turbinates contributing to blockage
  • Revision of a previous rhinoplasty affecting function or appearance
  • Congenital nasal deformity affecting airflow or facial proportion

IS THIS YOUR MOMENT?

Who Is Rhinoplasty For?

Rhinoplasty is suitable for adults who are unhappy with the appearance or function of their nose. The best candidates are those who approach the procedure with clear, realistic goals and a settled sense of what they want to achieve.

  • You are unhappy with the size, shape, or proportions of your nose
  • You have a nasal hump, wide or drooping tip, asymmetry, or nostrils that feel out of balance
  • You have a deviated septum or structural nasal problem affecting your breathing
  • You have fully recovered from previous nasal trauma and wish to correct the result
  • You are in good general health and suitable for general anaesthesia
  • You understand that final results continue to develop over 6–12 months

OTHER WAYS TO REFINE YOUR LOOK

Procedures That Complement Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty often forms part of a broader facial refinement plan.

FACE & NECK SURGERY

Blepharoplasty

Eyelid surgery to remove excess skin and refresh the eyes — completing upper facial refinement alongside rhinoplasty.

FACE & NECK SURGERY

Face Lift

Comprehensive facial rejuvenation addressing sagging skin, jowls, and loss of facial contour.

FACE & NECK SURGERY

Brow Lift

Raises descending brows and smooths forehead lines — refreshing the upper face to balance rhinoplasty results.

SETTING THE RIGHT EXPECTATIONS

Honest. Transparent. Complete.

The most successful rhinoplasty outcomes come from patients who understand both what the procedure can achieve and what a realistic, natural result looks like. Here is what you need to know going in.

  • Rhinoplasty can reshape your nose — it cannot give you someone else’s nose on your face
  • Results are permanent — natural ageing will continue but the surgical change is structural and lasting
  • The nose continues to settle for up to 12 months — interim results are not the final result
  • Skin thickness affects the final result — thicker skin shows changes less dramatically than thinner skin
  • Minor asymmetries may remain — perfect symmetry is not achievable or necessarily natural; the goal is harmony

Rhinoplasty: Straight Answers to Big Questions

Everything you need to know before taking the next step.

Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that reshapes, resizes, or refines the nose. It addresses both cosmetic concerns — such as a nasal hump, wide tip, or asymmetry — and functional problems like a deviated septum affecting breathing. The surgical plan is customised to each patient’s unique anatomy and goals.
The procedure typically takes around 4 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia as a day case — no overnight hospital stay is required. A nasal splint is fitted at the end of the procedure and worn for the first week.
Significant improvement is visible within a few weeks of surgery. However, rhinoplasty has one of the longest settling timelines in cosmetic surgery. The nose continues to refine for up to 12 months as all residual swelling fully resolves — patience is part of the process.
A nasal splint is worn for the first week. Most visible bruising resolves within 2–3 weeks and most patients return to light work after 2 weeks. Normal activity, including exercise and contact sports, can typically resume at 4–6 weeks.
Post-operative discomfort is generally well-managed with prescribed pain relief. Nasal congestion and a feeling of pressure are common in the first week and resolve progressively as swelling reduces. Most patients find the first week the hardest — after that, recovery is typically comfortable.
Yes. Rhinoplasty can address functional concerns such as a deviated septum, nasal valve collapse, or other structural problems affecting nasal airflow — combining cosmetic refinement and functional improvement in a single procedure under a single anaesthetic.
