VOLUME. CONTOUR. YOUTH.

Dermal Fillers

Injectable hyaluronic acid treatments that restore lost volume, sculpt facial contours, and smooth deep folds with immediate, natural-looking results.

ABOUT THIS TREATMENT

Restoring Volume. Redefining Contours.

As we age, the facial fat pads that give the face its youthful fullness gradually diminish. Cheeks flatten, the under-eye hollows deepen, lips thin, and folds deepen around the nose and mouth. Dermal fillers address this directly — replenishing lost volume and restoring the facial proportions of a younger face.

The gel used in modern dermal fillers is hyaluronic acid (HA) — a sugar molecule that occurs naturally in the body's own connective tissues. When injected, it integrates naturally with surrounding tissue, attracting water to maintain volume and hydration. The result is immediate, with the final shape settling over 2–4 weeks.

At Prof. Hindocha's practice, filler placement is guided by a thorough understanding of facial anatomy and the principles of facial proportion. The aim is always a balanced, natural result — not an overfilled appearance, but a subtly refreshed one.

FACIAL TREATMENT ZONES

Where Dermal Fillers Make a Difference

Filler can address volume loss and contour changes across multiple zones. Treatment is focused on the areas where change will have the most meaningful impact for your individual appearance.

LIPS

Lip Augmentation & Definition

Restore volume to thinning lips, define the lip border, or enhance the natural cupid’s bow. Results are tailored to complement your existing lip shape — never overdone.

LASTS: 6–9 months

CHEEKS

Cheek Contouring & Lifting

Restore mid-face volume lost through ageing, lift sagging skin at the jowl line, and define cheekbone projection for a more structured, youthful appearance.

LASTS: 12–18 months

NASOLABIAL FOLDS

Smile Line Softening

Reduce the depth of lines running from the sides of the nose to the mouth corners. Targeted placement softens the fold without creating an overfilled appearance.

LASTS: 9–12 months

TEAR TROUGH

Under-Eye Rejuvenation

Address the hollowing and dark shadowing beneath the eyes that makes patients appear tired regardless of how rested they feel. One of the highest-impact filler treatments available.

LASTS: 9–12 months

JAWLINE & CHIN

Jawline Definition

Sharpen the jawline, reduce the appearance of jowling, and add chin projection for improved lower-face definition and facial balance — without surgery.

LASTS: 12–18 months

MARIONETTE LINES

Mouth Corner Softening

Soften the downward lines from the mouth corners that create a resting downturned expression. Often combined with cheek treatment for a more natural overall lift.

LASTS: 9–12 months

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

What to Expect in the Days That Follow

Day of Treatment

Immediate Result

Volume improvement is visible immediately. Some patients experience localised swelling, redness, or minor bruising at the injection sites — this is normal. Avoid touching the treated area and apply a cool compress if needed.

Days 1–3

Swelling Peak & Settling

Swelling may peak during this period, particularly with lip treatments. Avoid alcohol, heat, and strenuous exercise. The filler is integrating with surrounding tissue — do not massage or manipulate the treated area.

Days 4–10

Shape Refining

Swelling resolves and the true shape of the treatment becomes clearer. Any bruising typically fades by day 7. The filler continues to integrate and hydrate during this period — the final form is emerging.

Week 2–4

Final Result & Review

The final result is visible at the 2–4 week mark. A follow-up appointment with Prof. Hindocha assesses the outcome, reviews symmetry, and discusses any adjustments or next steps in your treatment plan.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Lifted. Sculpted. Refreshed.

The results of well-placed dermal filler are immediate in terms of volume, and progressive in terms of quality as the HA integrates with surrounding tissue and stimulates the skin's own collagen. A skilled approach produces a result that looks like a naturally younger version of your face — not a treated one.

  • Immediate restoration of lost volume in cheeks, lips, and hollowed areas
  • Softened nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and tear trough hollows
  • Improved facial symmetry and more balanced proportions
  • Natural-looking lift without the downtime of surgical intervention
  • Results lasting 6–18 months depending on the treated area and product used

SAFE & REVERSIBLE

Understanding the Science Behind Your Filler

Modern dermal fillers use cross-linked hyaluronic acid — a biocompatible gel that behaves similarly to the HA naturally found in skin and joint fluid. Because it is a molecule the body already recognises, the risk of adverse reaction is low and integration with existing tissue is smooth.

The degree of cross-linking determines longevity and product behaviour. More heavily cross-linked products hold structure for longer and are used where lift and projection are needed. Softer formulations are selected for delicate areas like the tear trough and lips. Prof. Hindocha always matches the product to the anatomy — never the reverse.

HYALURONIC ACID

Biocompatible & Naturally Occurring

HA is a sugar molecule found naturally in the body's connective tissue and joint fluid. Filler-grade HA is well-tolerated and gradually metabolised by the body over time.

REVERSIBILITY

Dissolvable with Hyaluronidase

Unlike permanent fillers, HA products can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if results need adjustment or full reversal — an important patient safety mechanism that permanent alternatives cannot provide.

COLLAGEN STIMULATION

Improves Skin Quality Over Time

Beyond adding volume, HA filler stimulates fibroblast activity in surrounding tissue — encouraging the skin's own collagen production and improving elasticity gradually over months.

WHY PATIENTS CHOOSE DERMAL FILLERS

The Advantages of Hyaluronic Acid Filler

Immediate Visible Results

Unlike treatments that work gradually over time, filler produces visible change from the moment of injection. You leave the clinic with an improved result, which continues to refine over the following two weeks as swelling settles.

Reversible by Design

HA filler can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase if results need to be corrected or reversed. This provides an important safety net that permanent or semi-permanent filler alternatives cannot offer.

Long-Lasting, Not Permanent

Results typically last 6–18 months depending on the area and product. As filler gradually metabolises, results soften rather than disappear suddenly — allowing maintenance appointments to be planned at your own pace.

Natural Tissue Integration

HA is a molecule naturally present in the body's connective tissue. Filler-grade HA integrates with surrounding skin, hydrating the tissue and stimulating new collagen formation — improving overall skin quality alongside adding volume.

PATIENT EXPERIENCES

What Our Patients Say

I'd lost so much volume in my cheeks. After the treatment my face looked genuinely younger — not done. Colleagues noticed but couldn't put their finger on why.

— J.M.

The nasolabial folds had been bothering me for years. Prof. Hindocha used a minimal amount of filler with real precision. The result is subtle but makes a genuine difference to how I look.

— D.W.

I was worried about looking overdone. The consultation reassured me completely. The result was exactly what I had asked for — very natural, very me. I'll definitely be back.

— P.A.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common Questions About Dermal Fillers

Honest answers to what we hear most often.

A topical or local anaesthetic is applied before treatment, and most modern HA fillers also contain lidocaine in the formulation. Most patients report mild pressure or a brief sharp sensation. Sensitivity varies by area — lips being the most noticeable.
Results vary by area. Lip filler typically lasts 6–9 months; cheek and jawline filler 12–18 months; tear trough 9–12 months. Individual metabolism, lifestyle, and the volume used all affect longevity. Your team will advise at consultation.
Yes. HA filler can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if results need to be corrected or fully reversed. This is one of the key reasons HA fillers are preferred over permanent or semi-permanent alternatives — the safety net is always there.
Some localised swelling and bruising is common, particularly with lip treatments. Swelling typically peaks in the first 48–72 hours and resolves within 1–2 weeks. Bruising, if it occurs, usually fades within 5–7 days. Results should not be judged until swelling has fully settled.
Yes. Dermal fillers are commonly combined with anti-wrinkle injectables to address both volume loss and dynamic lines — sometimes called a liquid lift. Profhilo and PRP layer well with filler to improve overall skin quality alongside volumisation.
Over-treatment is a genuine risk — which is why Prof. Hindocha takes a conservative, anatomy-led approach. The aim is optimal proportion, not maximal volume. Subtle treatments are staged to ensure results build naturally and remain consistent with your individual facial structure.
