YOUR BLOOD. YOUR RENEWAL.
A regenerative injectable treatment that harnesses your own platelet-rich plasma to stimulate natural skin renewal, collagen production, and lasting rejuvenation — with no foreign substances required.
ABOUT THIS TREATMENT
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy takes a fundamentally different approach to skin rejuvenation. Rather than introducing an external substance, it concentrates the powerful growth factors already present in your own blood and delivers them precisely where the skin needs to rebuild.
Platelets — the components of blood responsible for wound healing and tissue repair — contain a rich supply of growth factors that stimulate cell proliferation, collagen synthesis, and new blood vessel formation. When concentrated and reinjected, these growth factors accelerate the skin's own regenerative processes, improving texture, tone, and elasticity from within.
PRP addresses fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and general skin dullness. Because the treatment uses your own biological material, there is no risk of rejection or allergic reaction. Prof. Hindocha combines precise injection technique with an individualised assessment to target the areas where your skin will benefit most.

First Follow-Up
The exact surgical approach — augmentation, reduction, lift or combination — is determined at consultation based on your individual anatomy and goals.
HOW PRP WORKS
The entire treatment takes around one hour. Every step is carried out in the clinic on the same day, using only the biological material drawn from your own blood.
Blood Draw
A small sample — typically 10–20ml — is drawn from your arm. The process is quick and identical to a routine blood test. No anaesthetic is required at this stage.
Centrifugation
The sample is placed in a centrifuge and spun at high speed, separating the blood into its component layers by density and weight.
Plasma Extraction
The platelet-rich plasma layer is carefully extracted — concentrated to 3–5x the normal platelet density of whole blood, maximising the growth factor payload.
Targeted Injection
The concentrated PRP is injected precisely into the target areas using fine needles, delivering growth factors directly where the skin needs to regenerate.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
Day of Treatment
Redness, mild swelling, and tenderness at the injection sites are normal and expected. The skin may appear flushed for several hours. Avoid strenuous exercise, sun exposure, and active skincare products on the day of treatment.
Days 2–3
A review appointment is scheduled at 2–3 days to assess the initial response and confirm healing is progressing well. Any minor bruising or localised tenderness typically resolves within this window.
Weeks 1–2
The growth factors in the concentrated plasma are actively stimulating the skin's repair processes. Early improvements in texture and hydration begin to emerge as the regenerative cascade takes hold beneath the surface.
Weeks 4–8
Progressive improvement in skin quality, tone, and texture becomes visible as new collagen and elastin develop. Results continue to mature over 3–6 months. A course of 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended for optimal outcome.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
PRP results build progressively as the skin's own regenerative response matures. Unlike treatments that produce an immediate cosmetic correction, PRP improves the actual quality of the skin tissue — producing results that feel natural because they are driven entirely by your own biology.
THE SCIENCE OF PRP
PRP works because platelets carry a concentrated supply of growth factors — proteins that direct the skin's repair and renewal processes. Three are particularly significant in aesthetic skin rejuvenation.
PDGF
Platelet-Derived Growth Factor stimulates cell proliferation and migration, recruits fibroblasts to the treated area, and initiates the cascade that leads to new collagen synthesis. It is the primary driver of the tissue-repair response.
VEGF
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor promotes the formation of new blood vessels in the treated tissue. This improves localised blood supply, enhancing the delivery of oxygen and nutrients — which gives PRP-treated skin its characteristic improved tone and vitality.
TGF-β
Transforming Growth Factor-beta is the primary signal driving new collagen and elastin production. It regulates fibroblast activity in the dermis — producing the firming, smoothing, and tightening effects that become visible weeks after treatment.
WHY PATIENTS CHOOSE PRP
PRP is an autologous treatment — the material used comes entirely from your own body. There is no foreign substance introduced, no risk of allergic reaction, and no immunological rejection. It is one of the most biocompatible treatments in aesthetic medicine.
PRP addresses a wide range of skin concerns in a single treatment — from fine lines and laxity to acne scarring and pigmentation. The growth factors stimulate broad tissue repair rather than addressing any single concern in isolation.
PRP complements laser, chemical peels, and Profhilo exceptionally well. When combined with resurfacing treatments, the growth factors accelerate the healing and regenerative response — deepening results and shortening recovery time.
Most patients return to light work the same day or the day after treatment. The visible skin-level response (redness, mild swelling) resolves within 24–48 hours, after which the regenerative process continues invisibly beneath the surface.
“
I had PRP after a course of laser and the combination was remarkable. The healing was faster and the final result was significantly better than either treatment on its own.
“
My acne scarring had resisted everything I'd tried. After three PRP sessions the texture is genuinely smoother. I only wish I had done it years earlier.
“
The idea of using my own blood was slightly daunting at first, but the team explained it so clearly. The process was straightforward and the results to my skin tone were absolutely worth it.
IS THIS TREATMENT RIGHT FOR YOU?
PRP is suitable for a wide range of patients seeking genuine skin quality improvement. Because it uses your own biological material, it is particularly well-suited to those who prefer to avoid synthetic substances or who have not responded fully to other treatments.
