THE NATURAL ALTERNATIVE TO FILLERS

Lipo-filling / Fat Transfer

A natural surgical solution that uses your own fat cells to add volume, restore lost contours, and rejuvenate the areas that matter most — with no implants, no fillers, and nothing foreign.

NATURE’S OWN FILLER

The Most Natural Volume Enhancement Available

Lipo-filling — also known as fat transfer or lipofilling — is a surgical procedure that uses the patient’s own fat to restore volume, fullness, and youthful contour to targeted areas of the face, breasts, buttocks, or body. Because the fat is entirely your own tissue, the results look and feel completely natural — and carry no risk of allergic reaction.

The procedure involves three stages: harvesting fat through gentle liposuction from a donor area (typically the abdomen, flanks, or thighs), purifying and processing the fat cells, and re-injecting them with precision into the target area to achieve the desired volume and contour. The donor site benefits too — reducing unwanted fat from one area while restoring it to another in a single procedure.

Lipo-filling can address volume loss in the face, provide natural breast augmentation, enhance buttock contour, or rejuvenate the hands. Professor Hindocha develops a personalised surgical plan for each patient based on the specific areas to be treated, the quality and quantity of available donor fat, and the desired outcome.

AFTER THE PROCEDURE

What to Expect as You Heal

Week 1

Rest Both Sites

Swelling and bruising at both the donor and recipient sites is normal and expected. Wear compression garments at the donor site as directed. Avoid pressure on the areas where fat has been injected.

Week 1–2

Settling Begins

Swelling reduces and bruising begins to fade. Light activity can resume. Continue to avoid direct pressure on treated areas and follow compression garment guidance for the donor site.

Week 2–3

Back to Routine

Most patients return to light work and everyday activities. Treated areas continue to soften. Some fat reabsorption is normal during this phase — the final volume will be lower than the initial post-operative result.

Month 3–6

Final Volume Emerges

The fat cells that have successfully integrated become a permanent part of the body. Final volume and contour are visible as all residual swelling resolves — the result you will keep for life.

THE RESULTS SPEAK

What Lipo-filling Can Achieve

Lipo-filling delivers natural, lasting volume restoration that fillers and implants cannot replicate — because it uses living tissue that integrates permanently with your body.

  • Restored volume to the face — cheeks, under-eye area, temples, or lips
  • Natural breast augmentation or enhancement without implants
  • Improved buttock and body contour through targeted fat repositioning
  • Reduction of unwanted fat at the liposuction donor site
  • A refreshed, naturally youthful appearance with no foreign materials
  • Long-lasting results from fat cells that successfully integrate into the tissue

WHY CHOOSE FAT TRANSFER?

Natural. Lasting. Yours.

100% Natural Material

No implants, no fillers, no foreign materials. The fat used is entirely your own tissue — making lipo-filling the most biocompatible volume enhancement available. Rejection and allergic reaction are simply not a concern.

Two Results in One Procedure

Fat transfer simultaneously reduces unwanted fat from a donor area and adds volume where it is wanted. You benefit from both a slimmer donor site and restored fullness in the target area — all within a single surgical session.

Permanent Once Integrated

Once the transferred fat has successfully integrated — typically within 3–6 months — the results are permanent. The surviving fat cells behave exactly like natural tissue and require no maintenance, top-ups, or replacement.

Versatile Across the Body

Lipo-filling can restore facial volume, augment the breasts naturally, contour the buttocks, or rejuvenate the hands. One technique — multiple transformations — tailored entirely to your needs and anatomy.

THE APPLICATIONS

One Technique. Multiple Transformations.

Lipo-filling can restore volume wherever it is needed most — face, breasts, or body. The technique is the same; the result is tailored entirely to you.

THE FACE

Facial Volume Restoration

Restoring volume to the cheeks, under-eye hollows, temples, lips, or nasolabial folds. A natural, long-lasting alternative to dermal fillers that integrates with your tissue and ages naturally with your face.

THE BREASTS

Natural Breast Enhancement

Natural breast augmentation without implants, or enhancement alongside implant placement. Ideal for patients seeking subtle, organic-feeling breast volume that moves and feels entirely natural.

THE BODY

Body Contouring & Rejuvenation

Buttock contouring, hand rejuvenation to restore youthful fullness, or correction of contour irregularities following previous liposuction. Fat transfer restores natural volume wherever it is needed most.

PATIENT EXPERIENCES

What Our Patients Say

I had lost so much volume in my face after weight loss and the fat transfer has completely restored it. The result looks entirely natural — no one knows I had anything done.

— E.R.

I had fat transfer to my breasts as a natural alternative to implants. The improvement is exactly the subtle, organic result I was hoping for.

— O.T.

The procedure addressed two concerns at once — excess fat on my flanks and lost volume in my face. I am genuinely delighted with both results.

— W.C.

THE CASE FOR PERMANENCE

Why Your Own Fat Outperforms Any Filler

Dermal fillers are an excellent short-term solution for volume loss — but they dissolve, require regular top-ups, and can migrate or change appearance over time. For patients who have reached the point where repeated filler appointments are no longer satisfying, lipo-filling offers something fundamentally different: a permanent result using your own biology.

Fat transfer also outperforms fillers in texture and integration. Injected fat behaves like the surrounding tissue — it moves naturally, softens over time, and responds to weight changes just as the rest of your body does. No product can replicate that. For significant volume loss, it is the gold standard.

  • Permanent after integration — fillers dissolve within 6–18 months
  • No foreign material — your own tissue, not a synthetic product
  • No risk of migration, granuloma, or product breakdown
  • Feels entirely natural — moves and responds like real tissue
  • More cost-effective long-term — one procedure vs. repeated top-ups
  • Donor site slimming included — no filler procedure offers this

COULD THIS BE FOR YOU?

Who Is a Good Candidate for Fat Transfer?

Lipo-filling is suitable for patients who have volume loss or contour concerns they wish to address naturally, and who have sufficient donor fat available. Ideal candidates typically present with:

  • Facial or body volume loss due to ageing, weight loss, or other factors
  • A desire for natural breast augmentation or enhancement without implants
  • Sufficient donor fat available in the abdomen, flanks, thighs, or elsewhere
  • Good general health and suitability for the chosen anaesthetic approach
  • An understanding that some fat reabsorption is normal and final volume settles over 3–6 months
  • A non-smoker, or willing to stop smoking before the procedure

Procedures You May Also Consider

Lipo-filling is frequently combined with other facial or body procedures for a more complete result.

Liposuction

Surgical removal of stubborn fat deposits to sculpt and refine your body contours.

Vaser

Ultrasound-assisted fat removal for enhanced precision and improved skin tightening.

TWO RESULTS IN ONE PROCEDURE

The Area You Lose From Matters Too

One of the most appealing aspects of fat transfer is that the donor site — where fat is harvested — benefits as much as the recipient site. The liposuction used to collect the fat simultaneously slims and contours the area it is taken from.

  • Abdomen — the most common donor site; liposuction here simultaneously flattens and defines the stomach
  • Flanks (love handles) — fat harvested from the sides reduces unwanted fullness around the waist
  • Thighs — inner and outer thigh fat can be harvested while contouring the leg profile
  • Multiple sites — fat can be collected from more than one donor area in the same procedure if needed
  • The result — a slimmer donor area AND restored volume at the recipient site: two improvements, one recovery

YOUR QUESTIONS

Everything You Need to Know About Fat Transfer

Clear answers before you take the next step.

Lipo-filling is a surgical procedure that harvests fat from one area of the body using liposuction, purifies it, and re-injects it into areas requiring volume such as the face, breasts, buttocks, or hands. The fat is entirely the patient’s own tissue, making it the most natural volume enhancement available.
The procedure typically takes around 3 hours and can be performed under local or general anaesthesia depending on the extent of treatment. No overnight hospital stay is required.
Once the transferred fat has successfully integrated — typically 3–6 months after the procedure — the results are permanent. The surviving fat cells become a natural part of the body and require no maintenance or replacement.
Typically 30–50% of the transferred fat is reabsorbed in the first 3–6 months as the body integrates the new cells. Professor Hindocha accounts for this during the procedure. The remaining integrated fat is permanent and behaves like natural tissue.
Yes. Facial fat grafting can restore volume to hollowed cheeks, under-eye areas, the temples, the lips, or around the mouth — providing a natural, long-lasting alternative to repeated dermal filler injections.
Yes. Fat transfer is frequently combined with facelift surgery, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation, or body contouring procedures. The donor site liposuction also provides a secondary aesthetic benefit — slimming the abdomen, flanks, or thighs in the same procedure.
