WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Day 1
Some swelling and tenderness around the cheeks is normal. Keep the area clean, follow aftercare instructions, and stick to soft foods for the first day.
Days 2–5
Swelling begins to reduce. Light activity and most daily tasks can resume. The dimple may appear visible even at rest during this early healing phase. This is normal and temporary.
Week 1–2
The internal sutures begin to integrate. Tenderness resolves and the dimple appearance becomes more natural. The dimple gradually settles into a smile-activated appearance as healing progresses.
Week 3+
Healing is complete. The dimple appears naturally when smiling and is no longer visible at rest. The final result is a permanent, characterful feature that feels entirely your own.

ON THE DAY

STEP 1
The desired dimple location is marked on the cheek in advance, with your input and agreement. Local anaesthesia is administered to ensure the area is completely comfortable throughout the procedure.
STEP 2
A small incision is made inside the cheek, entirely within the mouth, so there is no external mark. A suture is passed through the inner cheek and attached to the underlying cheek muscle, forming the dimple at the agreed position.
STEP 3
The procedure takes around an hour. Once complete, you are given aftercare instructions and can return home the same day. No hospital stay, no general anaesthetic recovery, and no drains.
